Besides providing exciting fishing and hunting for the avid sportsperson, Indiaonta, the only resort on Calm Lake, is also oriented for a summer vacation for the entire family-“fun in the sun”- a safe, sandy beach with a sauna, swimming, water-skiing, boating, wilderness adventures, and picturesque scenery for the camera enthusiast and peaceful hiking.
Drive-To Fishing Resort
Park your car beside your cabin for comfort and easy accessibility. Visit the nearby town of Atikokan for an afternoon of shopping, golfing, dining, museum.
Fine Fishing
Calm Lake, is our home lake and is approximately 18 sq. mi. in area or about 11 miles long by 4 and a half miles wide. The lake is fed by the Seine River and offers a variety of fish.
Fish for Northern Pike, Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, with Lake Trout found at nearby lakes.
Modern Lakeside Cabins
There are 10 cabin units ranging from one to four bedroom units that have a lake view. Cabins have air-conditioning, Satellite TV/WIFI, fully equipped kitchen and indoor bathroom facilities with showers.
Boats and Motors.
Lund boats with swivel seats and back rests and our Yamaha motors are well-maintained to ensure trouble-free fishing trips. Guests may bring their own boats, we have electricity at the docks, so all you need to bring is an extension cord! Gas for outboard motors is also available.

How to Reach Us
By car from Fort Frances or International Falls, MN, drive east 62 miles on Highway 11, north 3 miles on Flanders Road. From Pigeon River, MN take Highway 61 to Thunder Bay to Highway 17. Turn west on Highway 11, drive 27 miles west of Atikokan, north 3 miles on Flanders Road to our Resort.
